Convenor's Invitation

FIRST TIME IN AUSTRALIA!
We are pleased to invite you to sponsorship of the EMBO Workshop on Wnt Signalling: Stem Cells | Development | Disease to be held from October 6-9, 2014, on Broome's magnificent Cable Beach - the first time the Wnt meeting has been held in the Southern Hemisphere - AND the first EMBO Workshop to be held in Australia. The Wnt meetings incorporate both basic and clinical / diagnostic research and are a significant national and international forum for exchange of new data and a "progress report" on the application of cutting edge technologies in the field. Attendance is capped at 200 delegates to ensure the standard of Wnt meetings is maintained and the delegates and trade supporters can mingle to maximum advantage.

We look forward to your support for the Wnt 2014 meeting and to welcoming you to Broome in October 2014. Sponsorship Prospectus download.

PROGRAM OUTLINE AND TRADE ENGAGEMENT
Plenary and Symposium sessions make up the program, with Posters and Wine rounding out the interactive sessions. The majority of attendees are senior researchers from the top Australasian and international Labs. A stunning line-up of national and international luminaries in the field will attract excellent support from across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. The program is full, but with adequate time built-in for relaxed interaction with delegates. Breakfasts, the Welcome Reception, Posters and Wine and the Starlit Conference Dinner are some of the ways that the relaxed atmosphere of a Broome meeting contributes to open communication.

Themes and topics of the meeting are noted below, along with the major presenters, all experts of international standing in the field.

THEMES AND TOPICS: • Basic mechanisms of signal transduction and their role in development • Wnt interactions with other signalling path-ways • human oncogenesis and other diseases • therapeutic targeting and drug development. See also further details
